Hey there PITA State Shoot Participants-
Another great event is in the books and we hope everyone had a great time! Wonderful to see 6 new members joining up! Thank you to all who pitched in to help...Tim and Jeff couldn't have done it without you!
So sorry that I wasn't there to join in the fun and the workload, but being able to attend my nephew's wedding in Alaska with two of our kids, daughter-in-law, and grandbaby was a blessing beyond words!
Thank you for your patience in allowing me to get everything compiled upon my return. Here is the listing of event winners. I am getting Lewis Purse, Special Event, and Added Money checks printed today and planning on mailing them tomorrow (Sat 6/10).
Speaking of Added Money and Prize Sponsorship - we'd like to recognize the following folks who contributed to this years State Shoot: Tappy Oil Company (Kevin & Kimberly Davis), NE Irrigation (Gary Fiscus), Don's Diesel (Don Blecha), Jimmy & Laurel Phillips, Jim Curtis, Leon Rose, Kerry Cooper, Paul & Diane Dible, and Bill Bolinger. Please take the time to Thank them as well!
Thanks also to the Colorado State PITA board members who put in much time planning, lining up trophies, helping with registration, and assisting in many other ways - You guys are awesome!

Today, the third day of the State Pita Trap tournament and the weather was perfect the targets were good and the competitors were great.
Yesterday's post had a picture of our youngest shooter. Today's picture is of Van LeMaster who has been shooting registered targets since 1958. He posted a score of 192/200. A hobby for all ages
